YES!!!! Scott and I are still speaking! I have to admit (not to him) that the Gamecocks actually should have one that one. We were very lucky! HOWEVER, in an effort to honor his end of the bet----SCOTT WORE A TENNESSEE BRIGHT ORANGE HAT TO CHURCH SUNDAY!!! Hehe He was so handsome!
We have recently changed internet/t.v/phone service providers. I am unable to log on to the Internet at home right now. It will be a couple of days before I can post anything else! Hang in there with me!

Joining the "Favorite Photo Friday" Club!!
THENNOW
Not too much to report. We are all doing very well. Just really really busy! I just put JP down to sleep---I never know when he's going to wake up....AGAIN! SO, I will keep this short and sweet. One day I plan to sit down at length and post several "inspirational" thoughts. I miss that. There is so much that God is teaching me through motherhood and I promised Him that I would use my experiences to glorify Him. I just have to learn to balance "blogging" with toddler man running WILD!!
I hope everyone is doing okay. I am picking up the pictures of MacKenzie and JP tomorrow from JCPenny. They turned out REALLY REALLY great. I cannot wait to post them.
Oh yeah, pray for me and Scott-----this is the weekend that we do not speak to one another---TENNESSEE VS S. CAROLINA Saturday at 7:45!!!! GO VOLS!!

Thursday
Okay....I can't stand it anymore!!!! JP falls and hits his head anywhere from 2 to 4 times a day! It's horrible. He has so many bumps and bruises! Tonight, Scott and I were playing with him in his room and he fell and hit his forehead against the base of the door. He has a HUGE knot above his little eye. I had to give him Tylenol for this one! It brakes my heart. He's a tough boy, but I'm learning very quickly that I'm not as tough as I thought I was. Funny, you survive the wait and the ups and downs of the whole adoption process....then the baby comes! Figuring out how to survive that is another process in and of itself!

What I'm Doing Now ( a post for family and friends who are not able to be w/ JP on a daily basis!)
There are a lot of people in our lives who are not able to be with us on a daily basis for various reasons. Some are extended family and some are friends. From time to time I thought it would be neat to update them on JP's accomplishments.
That's all for now. JP is feeling better. Thank you to everyone who's been concerned for him! He is asleep right now. He slept through the night last night, and we're hoping for the same thing tonight!!!!! (Still working on getting the camera fixed!)
10 THINGS I CAN DO:
1) I can say daddy, mama, Sandy (our dog), kitty, car.
2) When you ask me where God is, I point up to the sky.
3) When you tell me it's time to pray, I fold my hands together.
4) I use sign language to ask for "more" and to say "please."
5) When I'm at home you can ask me where I am from and I will walk into my room and point to the Guatemalan flag above my changing table.
6) I am changing to a new school after Christmas b/c I've made so much progress.
7) I understand the words "kiss", "cat", "dog", "love" in both English and Spanish.
8) I LOVE music! I like to dance!
9) I am eating ALL KINDS of food now with no problems.
10) My favorite thing to do is have someone read to me---my favorite book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."

Reasons Why I Haven't Posted
1) JP is teething
2) JP is congested
3) JP is NOT sleeping
4) My digital camera is broken!!!
I am so mad about the camera! I have to take it back to be fixed. ANYWAY!! JP has two more teeth coming in and we are all suffering through the night. He is just fine during the day, but he is sleeping (on average) about 4 sometimes 5 hours a night and then tries to sleep away the morning. I am exhausted, so naturally, blogging has not been top on my priority list.
My sister-in-law and I did take MacKenzie and JP to have their pictures made tonight. They turned out so good. I cannot wait to share them. However, I will say that my Clemson friends will not like them very much! SORRY! GO COCKS!!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

JP's Dedication
MacKenzie joined us Sunday! What a cutie!! Pastor Dean did a great job dedicating the babies. He made it very personal!
JP wanted to talk the whole time.
The whole family at Mutts for lunch! YUM!
Thank you to everyone who made this day special for us. It took a lot to get our little man here, and we could not have done it without you!! Lunch was CRAZY and crowded, but just knowing each of you were there with us was enough! THANKS!!!!! We love you!
