one of my new favorites
This was a picture from Saturday night when we had a cook out at Terry and Shannon's house. I have a ton of really cute pics from that night, but my computer is slow tonight and I am beat! This was my favorite one and I thought it needed to stand alone anyway...
Please keep Scott's grandmother in your prayers. She is in the critical care unit of St. Francis Hospital. Her heart is not working properly and she is unable to breathe without oxygen. THANKS!

take me out to the ballgame!
We went to Kenzie's tee ball game tonight. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! I cannot wait to sign him up next year. However, JP found very little pleasure in the actual game. He used his water gun to make mud in the sand.

topless
Holly and BJay picked JP up to hang out with him the other day so that Scott and I could go play golf together. BJay thought it would be cool to take the top off of Holly's car. JP was not sure what to think... he kept saying, "Mommy, what's wrong?!" It was cute. He ended up enjoying it.

i learn something new every day
I learned something very interesting at my Bible study this past Thursday. I hope you find this as awesome as I did. I may just show my ignorance, because it's something I had never read or heard of before...
When they buried Jesus after His crucifixion, they wrapped His head in a cloth. After His resurrection, the cloth was found neatly folded on the ground (John 20). I know that doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but listen to this! Back in Jesus' day, when a king was dining with people, he would get up from the meal and throw his napkin into his plate. This signified that he was finished with the meal and was not going to return. HOWEVER, if the king got up from the table and left his napkin neatly folded beside his plate, it meant that he was not finished and he would return to the table.
So, how cool is it that the King of Kings didn't throw His cloth on the ground! He left it neatly folded! He is NOT finished here....He's returning!!!!!
