Happy 6th Anniversary!!!

I cannot believe that Scott and I have been married for SIX years! I just wanted to publicly say that I am the happiest married woman there is!! Scott is an amazing husband, wonderful father, and my best friend. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SWEETHEART! I love you!

Better late than never...

JP decided Friday night (before we left on Sunday) that he liked the ocean. These are the first pictures of him letting us put his feet in. After he realized that the water was not going to swallow him up, he LOVED it! The next morning, we met Amy, MacKenzie and Dwayne at their hotel in downtown Myrtle Beach. The kids enjoyed the ocean and pool together!

Now... ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, Kathi and I headed to Guatemala to pick up the remaining pieces of my heart! I will forever remember this date! I thought I would share a few of my favorite pictures from that day.....(I haven't forgotten about the beach pics. I will be posting more of those later.)

Back to Reality

Well, we are home! I have lots of pictures to post, but no time to post them! hehe! I will be adding more each day. If (and I stress the word "if") JP goes to bed early I will try and do more tonight....however, don't hold your breath!

We had a great time and were NOT ready to come home. JP LOVED the ocean, sand and the pool. He slept like a champ! Not only did he sleep through the night all week long, but most days he took AT LEAST a two and a half hour nap. Sometimes three! You know what that means....mommy was able to nap and spend time at the pool/beach alone with a book! WOO-HOO! Much needed! I hope every one is having a great summer so far. I will post more soon!

Wild Wings

Wednesday night Scott and I joined some friends for a graduation party at Wild Wings. It was a lot of fun. Just thought I would share some pics. I probably will not post again until we return from the beach next week. I may have Internet access...if so, I will definitely post from down there. I hope every one has a restful weekend and enjoys working while I'm soakin' up the rays!!!

Beach Bound

The only thing more exciting to me than bringing JP home, is TAKING HIM ON HIS FIRST BEACH VACATION!!!! I absolutely cannot sleep at night because of my excitement! My mom, JP and I are packing up the car and heading to Myrtle Beach Sunday for a week!!! Scott and my dad are joining us Wednesday.

Growing up, my family had a camper and we traveled to Myrtle Beach several times a year for weeks at a time. It was my favorite thing EVER!!!! Being able to share that with JP is going to mean so much to me. 3 or 4 years ago my parents sold the camper and bought a time share at Myrtle Beach. It's taken me a LONG LONG LONG time to get over my extreme bitterness over the camper, but I will admit, the condo has been fun. JP will have a blast! Kathi and her family will be joining us for the first part of the week. We will be sure to take LOTS of pictures!
