PREVIEW

I am too tired to post all of the pictures from the weekend. We had a GREAT time and JP was a doll! He LOVED the boat, the water, and the sand! Check back tomorrow night for more pictures. ( The first picture is duplicated at the bottom...I'm not sure what happened! )

PAGING DR. DOBSON!!!!!

Does anyone have an extra copy of Dr. Dobson's "Raising the Strong-Willed Child??" WE NEED HELP!!!!

Seriously---JP is an absolute JOY, and while we are THRILLED that he is so smart, MAN...HE IS A HANDFUL! He is so easy. He plays independently. He laughs, smiles, walks, and is sleeping well (for the most part!) Life is good.........UNTIL.......JP decides he wants something, is told "No" or has to wait on the next bite of food to get to his little mouth. He decomposes! Screams, turns blue, hits etc... Now, don't get me wrong, when you do what it is he wants at that time, he smiles/laughs and turns on his little manipulative charm.

I'm beginning to understand why ALL of his health reports during the past 4 months said that he was "very active!"

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. We go non-stop and I haven't been feeling well the past few days. I hope everyone is doing well! For those of you who have asked/emailed----Scott goes for his 2nd CT scan on the 2nd of October. We are going to find out if his spleen is still enlarged. Until then, we are just hangin' out. He is feeling better than he was. Thanks for all of your prayers and concern. We appreciate it.

This post is meant to be funny---we are not having any REAL trouble with JP. He's just CRAZY!!! I foresee LOTS of discipline in our future!

My First Set of Wheels

NOW....before you look at these pictures of me, PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A POST FOR YOU TO LOOK AT MY BIG ROUND TUMMY AND CHUCKLE!!!!! THIS IS A POST ABOUT MY NEW RIDE!!!!

My neighbors/friends brought over a brand new set of wheels for me tonight!! I love it! I played with it until mommy PEELED me off to take a bath and go to bed. :( It has lots of cool stuff.....Elmo plays the piano on the front, the horn blows really loud (mommy and daddy love that part,) the seat comes up for me to store my toys in. IT'S AWESOME!!! I mostly like to blow the horn and push it around. My feet do not touch the ground yet for me to ride it....DON'T LAUGH AT THAT EITHER!! BUT, once I do learn to ride, I am going to be REALLY fast!

BABY STEPS

JP has been taking steps inconsistently for a couple of weeks now. However, this weekend he REALLY began to walk!! He is learning to hold his arms out to keep his balance, and to catch himself when he falls. We are really excited!! (I think!he!) When he needs to get somewhere quickly, he still crawls, but in another week or two I predict he'll be "ALL DONE" with crawling!

I tried to catch a few action pictures....

GOT (WHOLE) MILK?

GOOD BYE FORMULA, HELLO TABLE FOOD AND VITAMIN D!!!

I know, I know! I have not posted in a while. Please forgive me! I am seriously going to try and do a better job. The truth is, JP is still working on sleeping through the entire night ( in his bed, not mine!) I have to catch a nap when I can so that I can function at work. It's not that easy! All you moms who are blessed/fortunate enough to be stay-at-home moms......count your blessings! MOM is a FULL-TIME position. It's hard to juggle a job outside of this one.

Anyway, JP is still doing great. He loves school. As you can see in the following pictures, he also LOVES food. Last night we gave him his very last bottle of formula before bed. It was sorta sad! He's moved on to a bowl of cereal w/ whole milk and a juice bottle. He still wants to be rocked...thank goodness!

Enjoy the pics!
