Tonight, we went downtown with dad to the Armed Forces Parade. We had a great time! I will post all of the pictures tomorrow.
There were a few PRICELESS moments that took place while we were there. Dad wore his Vietnam Veteran hat. Numerous people came up to shake his hand and thank him for his service. And all throughout the parade, the military men would salute him. After the parade was over, a young boy approached dad along with his dad...he took his hat off and shook my dad's hand. Can you say tears??!!
It was a really special time. I love my dad and am so proud of him!
