unredeemed

I have found the PERFECT song.   My good friend John introduced me to the song, Unredeemed by Selah.  OH. MY. GOODNESS.  First of all, I am in no way surprised that this particular group released a song with such heart wrenching lyrics.  They are famous (literally) for that.

However, if you ask me, this one takes the cake.  It is possible that you have heard the song before.  Apparently it was released in 2010.  With iPods, iPads, Pandora and smart phones, it has been a LONG time since I have tuned in to Christian radio.  Not only is the song amazing, but my life could have written the words.  It is truly my testimony at this time.  John just happens to be a great singer and this song just happens to be a duet!  I look forward to sharing this song with him.  I want to share the lyrics with you...

" The cruelest world
The coldest heart
The deepest wound
The endless dark
The lonely ache
The burning tears
The bitter night
The wasted years

Life breaks and falls apart
But we know these are

Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But when anything that's shattered
Is laid before the Lord
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemed

For every choice that led to shame
And all the love that never came
For every vow that someone broke
And every lie that gave up hope
We live in the shadow of the fall
But the cross says these are all

Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But you never know the miracle the Father has in store  (emphasis mine!)
Just watch and see
It will not be
UNREDEEMED!

I'll give you a moment to let that sink in...   It does that to me too!  I will tell you that reading the words is great, but you REALLY should actually hear the song to experience the full blessing.  So, stop NOW, go to YouTube and type in "Unredeemed by Selah."  Several versions will pop up.  Click on the one with the dark-haired member (cannot remember his name) is sitting at the piano.  It has the best sound quality.  Feel free to email, text or (FB) message me your thoughts!!  I am super excited about this one!

No matter what we are going through..  No matter what pain we are experiencing.  If your life is broken, if your life is shattered, bring your burden(s) to the Lord and lay it at His feet.  Your pain will not be in vain.  You circumstances will not be unfulfilled or unrestored.  They will be REDEEMED.  Now, go listen to this song on YouTube.  I look forward to your feedback!

Expect a blessing.

How lovely to experience your exuberance for the Lord in this song! The feeling of being redeemed is so special, isn't it? And this song just makes you soar. Music does that for me too.

Thanks for sharing that today!
